CCA operates through three core functions:
- Connecting innovative cultural creators within a supportive and inspiring community
- Unlocking knowledge and networks for young and emerging makers, lowering barriers to participation in the city’s cultural life
- Acting as spokesperson and advocate for members with policymakers, institutions, and stakeholders
